Passwords
When someone tells you you need to change your password, you should probably change it.
The catch, of course, is that not everyone telling you to change your password is legit. That means you need to change it in the right way, to avoid being compromised.
I'm Told to Change My Password. Why? has the important details.
Also this week:
- Fixing bluescreens
- Using LastPass
- Getting phished

- 8 Tips to Improve Your Wi-Fi Signal - Some good ideas here.
- How Hackers Get Your Passwords and How To Defend Yourself A good overview to a common concern.
- 'Bossware is coming for almost every worker': the software you might not realize is watching you - I get asked about this kind of thing a lot.
TEH Podcast
Gary and I spend this episode discussing Twitter. We speculate (a lot) about what might happen, and the ramifications of some of the changes currently floating as rumors across the internet.
There's more, of course, over at: TEH 162: Twitter take over.
Have a great week!
