We're used to it in email. Too used to it, actually.
I've started to refer to the flyers and other whatnot that show up in my physical mailbox as "paper spam", and unwanted phone solicitations as "phone spam".
But wait ... there's more.
Now there's "Smishing": What Is Smishing?
