Ah, OneDrive

I like OneDrive, I really do. But I don't like how they've implemented one of its features.

Yes, of course I'm a huge fan of backing up, however the way OneDrive has implemented a backup feature has added much more confusion than it's worth.

Seriously, the feature defaults to being "on", and I recommend most people turn it off. That's how confusing it is.

You'll find the details in this week's featured article: Why Is My OneDrive Full? (And why you might have two Documents folders.)

Also this week: how not to to give all your data to a repair technician, mobile data versus Wi-Fi, and the confusing mess that is the Event Viewer.

All the links are down below.

A correction on my part. Why I spent my Monday evening fixing a hacked web site (not mine), and what lessons apply to you. The Amazon Web Services outtage, and the domino effect on other services. Gary gets a security camera, and how I used mine to figure out who was peeing in my family room.

Weather seems to be in the news a lot of late -- I hope you and yours are safe.
