Spam, spam and more spam

Imagine a world with out spam. Wouldn't it be wonderful?

Keep dreaming. It's not going to happen any time soon, regardless of what you think the solution should be.

Since we can't stop spam, the best we can do is to manage it. Even when we get a sudden flood of it. This week's featured article goes into more detail, of course.
