No video summary this week, I'm on a mini-vacation somewhere in Colorado.
This week's articles & videos
As you might expect, and as I'm sure you might also be, I'm the local tech support for some of my friends and neighbors.
Sure enough, I got the call: Windows Update had apparently stalled. The machine was stuck on a reboot, apparently doing nothing, for hours.
Since this hasn't happened to me it was an opportunity to experience what a few folks deal with when Windows Update goes awry.
Also this week:
- Want to restore a backup image from one machine to another? I don't recommend it.
- That window's there somewhere . . . off-screen. How to move it back.
- Shopping for an email service to move to? I have opinions. (Of course I do.)
TEH Podcast
As kinda predicted, no podcast this week, since it's my turn to be on the road. And once again, next week's not looking good either. It's a busy summer.
Hope your summer's going well!
Take care,
