#944 – Is OneDrive a Backup?

OneDrive is One Place

I know it's counter-intuitive, but that means that even though you might use OneDrive to automatically copy files to the cloud, or to other machines, when it comes to backing up it's still only one place.

That means that, no, OneDrive is not, by itself, a sufficient backup. (This applies to Dropbox, Google Drive, and all the other equivalents as well.)

Is OneDrive a Backup? has my reasoning.
