Getting Local Help
This is a question for which I have no specific answer. And it frustrates me. Even after all this time I wouldn't know who to take my computer to locally if I had an issue I wanted help with.
Fortunately, it's not something I need often, but it's a question I get asked . . . often. And I still have no answer.
What I do have are some guidelines and approaches you might take if you find yourself in a similar situation. This week's featured article shares some ideas on how to approach finding local computer help.
Also this week: Why blocking spam is pointless, trash versus junk, and the abysmal state of networking for real people.

A Couple of Plugs!
While I have your attention, I wanted to plug interesting thigns a couple of my friends are up to:
- Original TEH Podcast co-host Kay Savetz is into retro-computing and has a pretty nifty YouTube channel with podcast episodes interviewing various industry founders, notables, and luminaries. Check it out!
- Occasional TEH Podcast guest, Greg Bulmash, has published his first novel: Hell on $5 a Day. I just started it, and am having a difficult time setting it aside.
I hope all is going well for you.
