Newsletter FAQ & administration
Two quick reminders:
- I'm playing with Mastodon at @firstname.lastname@example.org (That's not a public Mastodon host, so you can't create an account there, but you can follow me from any Mastodon host.)
- If you're getting this newsletter via email, check the code at the very bottom for 20% off things in my store, including my nearly completed Saved! Backing Up with Macrium Reflect 8 ' Online Course.
Seriously, if there were one thing I could wish upon you is that you become more skeptical, particularly when it comes to the information you consume online. Email, news, social media, video, ... everything.
The reason there's so much misinformation online is because people aren't thinking and aren't questioning the sources of that information. The reason malware spreads as easily as it somethimes does is because people aren't thinking and aren't questioning, the sources of emails, advertisements, and more.
Skepticism won't solve all problems, but it'll sure reduce a bunch of them.
It Pays to Be Skeptical has more.

It Pays to Be Skeptical
There are people trying to fool you.
If we would all be a little more skeptical, we'd be safer and the internet would be a more trustworthy place.
