This week's articles & videos
If you've been online at all in the last 30 to 40 years, you've been using "the cloud". It's gotten more and more visibility, and there are more and more ways to use it than ever before, but the only thing new about it is the marketing term: "the cloud".
With that additional visibility comes additional scrutiny. And as we do more and more with it, we hear horror stores more often as well.
Don't let those stories scare you. You can use "the cloud" safely.
Also this week:
- You don't need to change your password every-so-often, and I'll explain why.
- I'll show you how to easily delete files from OneDrive, while keeping them on your computer.
- I look at some of the ways to speed up your slow-starting computer.
TEH Podcast
No TEH podcast last week. We typically record on Tuesday's, and with last Tuesday being election day here in the US, we decided we'd be too distracted.
I expect we'll be back this week.
-
Speaking of; as the election winds down please continue to be skeptical of inflamatory news. In particular, don't share anything on social media you're not absolutely certain is true. In the long run spreading falsehoods (aka manure of the male bovine variety) really only harms your side -- whichever side that may be.
Please, be kind to all,
