Newsletter FAQ & administration
Local or Microsoft?
This has been an ongoing battle. On one hand many people are more than happy to run with a local account -- an account that's present on your PC and only your PC -- while others end up using Microsoft accounts to sign in to all their PCs. And of course the conspiracy crowd is convinced that Microsoft is pushing Microsoft Accounts in order to spy/collect more data on its users.
I'm not part of the conspiracy crowd, but I can definitely see pros and cons to both kinds of accounts. This week's featured article goes over it all.
